my own treasures box

i was asked by andwhatelseisthere to showcase my favorite jewels.  here they all are, a mess and piled together in this old box.  i couldn't pick one over the other, i love them all equally.  now its your turn! i would like to see all your cherished necklaces, rings, and bracelets, watches, barrettes, and any other shiny pretty little things.

i'm reading zelda fitgerald's biography right now and it's pretty awesome.  i mean her mother's nickname was the wild lily of the cumberland.  how wonderful is that?  i'm still only in her childhood years, but i can't wait to read about her marriage and her mysterious death by fire in an insane asylum.   i've been starting and stopping books recently, or maybe i've just been reading sub-par books.  i have high hopes for zelda, but have you guys read anything mind blowing lately?

here is the last of summer.  we had a warm weather gift last week and then winter hit hard with a blizzard on saturday.  the snowflakes were about as big as cotton balls and it kept up all night!  this weekend we had a lot of adventures including i drank 3 beers and got inappropriate, we had a late night sushi date, and leonard and i saw the road which i have been waiting to see for a long time and it was awesome.  then of course the heat has stopped working in my apartment AGAIN.  as i'm typing this, i am bundled up in two shirts, a sweater, a scarf, a hat, long johns, sweatpants, socks, slippers and i'm practically sitting on top of the space heater.  the landlord has not called us back.
