My best friend Ashley is in town this weekend and she's coming back here sometime tonight. It will probably be late already when she gets in and she will sit on my bed to have a few hurried and angry cigarettes while she tells me about her night and relays all the communications that have happened between her ex boyfriend which we will then discuss. Tonight I'm secretly staying in again. It's a secret because I haven't told anyone yet and I am expected. I mean there is about a 3% chance I will wait until midnight and then up and go to the birthday party I'm supposed to already be at right now, but really I think I will just eat a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and then watch a movie until Ashley gets here.

My boyfriend is being really awesome recently. For example he got me a sewing machine and a perfect hat for no special reason at all just because. Last time we saw each other I went to his cousin's wedding shower and met his family and he told them we were moving to New York together and also as it gets closer to him leaving he is being extra considerate of how I am obviously terrified that he will immediately meet some girl who has better outfits than me and marry her.

I am drunk on spring fever all the time. I smell honeysuckle and hear birds even when I am inside. Let's all go swim in a river and hang out in a forest.
