im always cold, im always wasting my youth

So for winter this year I'm trying very hard not to become a full blown hermit and avoid all human contact. It's hard though. Mainly I guess because I haven't been in Boston for so long and I'm very out of the social loop here. Plus my roommate and I tend way hard towards staying in every night with ten or twenty movies rented from the library. Oh well, I have found my new years resolution. Be less of an antisocial weirdo. In great news I bought a plane ticket home for xmas and I'll be there from December 31 to January 5.

There's nothing wrong with being antisocial :) movies are cool. Besides, going out I find, is sometimes mundane

Have a happy Christmas!

I can be a bit of a hermit too - I don't think it's bad, especially in mid winter. You probably just need the hermit time! merry christmas...

Oh, is that the right word for what I feel like? Everything is so weird with being back "home" after being away for 2 years... having cozy alone-time is just so tempting when it's coldness outside....

Have a happy and social new year though, I'm sure you'll have a great start with your resolutions.

I would say that if you're going to be a hermit, do it with progressive action - the last couple of winters I've spent dancing in my space (it's what I do) preparing performances, and inviting others over for tea (so it's like keeping basic human contact, but moving forward)

Boston is a great town, and it's like Montreal - it's easy to just talk to strangers without people giving you a 'huh?' look, so don't be afraid to reach out.

lovely blog, found it through lola is beauty. all i can say is, i've been here for 5.5 years now, and i'm still out of the social loop. it exists, i know it does, but it's too cold for me to venture out of the house.

hope you're having a wonderful trip home.

I've recently discovered the on-demand option on Netflix - so there is really no need at all to leave even your sofa, especially on a day like today... BB
