YOU CAN HAVE THIS DRESS

chickdowntown.com has given me the opportunity to give this pretty BB Dakota dress to a girl who reads my blog and lives in the US. summer will be over before we know it and who couldn't use a new purple frock to wear while its still humid and hot. all i need from you is a comment with your email and some words or anything else you think i might like. i'll pick a winner at random and announce on tuesday august 4, 2009.

I don't love many dresses but this one may have just won me over... Ok, it did. All of my clothing is basically second-hand... This would be a treat.

you are lovely.

I live in NC and am freaking out about not being able to wear cut-offs when I start teaching in August. THIS IS MY SOLUTION.

Dress is beautiful and the blog is great.

Here's a haiku 4 u:

I need a free dress!
Recession's such a bitch and
Purple's my color.

The end.

I am also a fellow Emerson alum, and I love love love your blog!

I saw this dress on chickdowntown a little while ago and thought it was adorable. I tried to convince my cousin that it would be a good bridesmaid dress for me to wear to her fall wedding, but she said it was too spring-y. Alas...

Eee I feel weird trying to convice you that I should get the dress but oh well.

I live in Colorado and it's currently 95° and we don't have air conditioning so I've basically been melting since I'm not used to not having a beach after living in Hawaii for 8 years (with air conditioning).
I'm really into dresses but my parents just divorced and my mom can't find a job so we're living off of child support which doesn't allow almost any money-spending, especially on clothes and I haven't scouted out the best thrift stores yet. I've been following your livejournal for a few years off an on, I use that more than this and hey we're ~*frenz*~ there (I'm articulady).

Thanks for making fashion attainable and for trying out the things that you do so well.
If that makes sense.

Oh man, I'm not as desolate as I may have made it seem. I don't NEED the dress. I WANT the dress.
That is all :0)

I adore this dress. Wouldn't it be great with black tights? Or purple tights? I am so excited to bring out my tights again, it's almost all I can think about.

I am a HUGE fan of this dress... I've seen it before, and think it is so absolutely lovely. I especially like it, because I am a smaller girl with a big bust, and a dress like this is complimentary to my body type!

This dress is so sweet! It made me think of "Uptown Girls." Maybe it was more BB *Dakota* (as in Dakota Fanning) than the dress, but it's still pretty! Thanks for the opportunity!
