i was so excited yesterday when i found that bustier for $10 at urban outfitters! it's kind of difficult to get on and off, but i don't care, i love it. leonard is here and last night we had a date in cambridge after i got off work and then we got to sleep in this morning and go to brunch together and hang out all day in bed. the perfect sunday. lets talk about how i feel like this year i am going to be very adult and very good. now all i have to do is quit smoking. how do i quit smoking though, i can't, its too harddddddddd. i guess i could start by buying the nicotine patch.

I was more orally fixated than anything, regarding the smokes, so I have no advice regarding the nicotine addiction aspect, but it helps to make sure no one is smoking around you for at least a month. IT SUCKS, but that was the only way I could and now I am so glad I did because I look back at photos and I was all gray, in spirit and complexion, compared to now.
Just think, in a year you can be as grossed out as I am now every time someone lights up. I cringe every time my bff in AZ is on the phone and I can hear her inhaling that junk.

I wish you all the luck in the world to quit smoking! My dad used to smoke before I was born. I guess he just decided to quit one day, and he did. He hasn't touched a cigarette since!

Quitting smoking seriously sucks, but it's so worth it.
I decided to quit when I saw my uncles (twins) this past summer. They were standing next to each other and the one who smokes looked 10 years older than the one who doesn't. He had way more wrinkles and his skin looked gray.
The nicotine gum was a life saver for the first 3 months. Now whenever I crave a cigarette I think about how awful they make you smell. You don't realize when you're smoking because you're used to it, but people who smoke smell like an ashtray pretty much all the time. You're too cute to smell bad. Good luck!

I am not a smoker but I saw one of my art teacher once coughing like a rooster; it was at a point of no return. Not a pretty cough.
To me cigarettes only look cool in Hollywood movies, like Marlene Dietrich holding one.

you could try one of those electronic cigarettes- then you'd only be ingesting the nicotine vapor and not all the extra chemicals. and you can smoke inside without stinking up your place! it's every smokers fantasy..
