just one day late

 photos by caroline
(vintage brown velvet bow headband, vintage mustard leotard with skirt, aa winter leggings, tan flats from paris)

so what if i dressed up as a girl pumpkin.  my only regret is that i somehow missed out on getting candy this year.  its rough not being 11 anymore.  this time in 1996 i had a whole pillowcase full of sweets hidden in my closet.

That bow headband is so gorgeous. I found two velvet bowties in a charity shop yesterday, one in navy the other burnt orange, and don't know what to do with them! I don't know if I'd be brave enough to wear them out with a blouse and at the same time think it might be sacrilege to cut them up to make a hair slide... xx

do you do anything to your hair to give it that cute slight curl? it looks so healthy and natural! these are really great colors too. makes me feel warm!

Kennedy said...

emily: to make my hair kinda curly at the ends, i put it up in a top knot while its still damp and let it dry like that. also i barely wash my hair, usually only 2 or 3 times a week. i think that might be the secret to keeping long hair healthy-ish.
