spring hasnt sprung

photos by leonard
(vintage cardigan, vintage velvet leotard from sadieDELUXE, vintage shorts, american apparel polka dot tights, vintage loafers)

if i'm being honest we are still in the bowels of winter in massachusetts and i did not wear this out of my house today.  but i'm so tired of having to wear 100 layers and then the gigantic down jacket that goes to my ankles everyday.   plus this crushed velvet leotard was gifted to me by sadie who runs the beautifully curated etsy store sadieDELUXE.   i think we all know how much i love a good leotard so obviously it's very quickly becoming one of my favorite things.

the velvet! it almost went unnoticed in these photos but wow. also in the post below this, your room looks like something out of a beautiful hazy dream-just worth noting.

The winters are harsh in MA!

trying to figure out why on earth I haven't been by your blog in so long! you have such wonderful minimalist style. I think I just might have to bust out my velvet leotard tomorrow myself! I hope that the bowels of winter pass their snowy diarrhea and you can enjoy a pleasant spring soon enough. Wow, that was disgusting. Leave it to me to take metaphors way too far :P

oy, we're still in the bowels of winter and it's officially march. don't you think us boston bloggers have a severe disadvantage when it comes to blogging / posting interesting content in comparison to those sunny cali bloggers? haha.

that said, you look beautiful. indoor photos are the way to go.
