hot wheels

photos by leonard
(vintage guess sunglasses, vintage sweater, american apparel side zipper shorts, american apparel bamboo jersey tights, fieldguided tote, vintage bow shoes)

len found his dream car on craigslist and now we are the proud owners of a 1987 volvo!   me driving looks much less like these pictures and much more like i'm a nervous wreck, but i am slowly figuring my way around massachusetts as a driver.  and in the process i've fallen in love with this car,  driving it is like being in high school!  other new favorite things from this week include thunder in our hearts tote from anabela which i will be wearing every day forever, and these vintage guess sunglasses i found on bohemianseed.  i am usually pretty great about not buying myself a million presents from the internet but sometimes you deserve to be a little bit spoiled and i'm really glad i caved in on these two perfect gems.

Such a lovely car! I love those sunglasses too.
I've seen those bags on etsy before and I've been thinking about screen printing my own lately too. They're very cute and I love the phrases

Ooh those glasses suit you so well! :) I lost a vaguely similar pair in the sea in Spain last summer, the sea was rocky. I wish I'd known better! You look wonderful as always xx

We all need to spoil ourselves every now and then. These photos are gorgeous.

my bf is going to be so jealous of this car. he wants a volvo so badly!

i love those shoes. they remind me of ferragamos.

i drove an old silver volvo in high school! they are the best cars.

and of course, we all deserve a little something once in a while. beautiful photos, as usual.

Congrats on the new car!
I'm completely in love with that sweater, it looks so cosy and I adore the patterns.

i can't believe how beautiful the photos are - there's something classic and timeless and really cool about them. of course the outfit and glasses and tote are great on your model-esque frame... but right now i just love the whole thing rolled up together in these great shots. leonard is pretty talented.

i am in the midst of learning to drive and so i can totally relate to being nervous on the road. i was out on a highway the other day - my first time - and man was i stressed! i kept thinking i would slam into the car coming opposite me... but i would drive any day if it meant being in a volvo, old or new.

Aw congrats on the new car! I was just going to say how adorable it is. Haha agree, you do deserve to be spoiled. I love online shopping :]

first, we got no craiglist here. second, cars are too expensive here, so we won't be able to find expensive things on craiglist even if we have one craglist here. third, i'm too jealous to say anything more than repeat myself.

ok ok, you looked great and i like that bag.

I love the gray tights with those shorts, and the photo with the glass reflection. Great outfit.

Also, you know you've lived in this part of the country too long when you can recognize the area by the trees alone! (CT-er here.) Looks like it was a beautiful day up there too.

Oh my gosh, Kennedy those glasses are such a great find. They look a bit like the new rayban shape but were probably 1/10th the price which makes them 10X sweeter. And that sweater?? Love it!

I love Len's new car!! I have always wanted an 80s 240 Volvo in navy. They're so classic New England. Boston driving is truly something else. MI drivers are aggressive, but we follow the rules. There are no rules in Boston!

You look as beautiful as ever and I am always drooling over your amazing shop updates. Makes me miss my shop.
