backyard jungle

photos by leonard
(cherry blossom hair comb by alexandra grecco, american apparel pinpoint oxford round collar button up, poppy fields coral high waisted shorts c/o lulu's, american apparel tights, vintage coach purse, vintage heels)

from the looks of the green jungle in our backyard i think it's alright to call it springtime.  further evidence: i had ice cream yesterday and i've been wearing shorts for two days straight! even if i am still wearing tights underneath and even if my outfit choice has little to do with the weather and much more to do with the fact that i've fallen in love with this high waisted pair in particular.  they perfectly combine my two current favorites, silky fabrics and pink.  thank you lulu's!

Spring seemed to be a long time coming this year, but I love your back yard jungle. And I love the shirt with the jacket; a perfect combination.

You are such a lucky girl with a whimsical yard like this. And the proportion of this outfit is perfect. I love that the jacket is slightly longer than the shorts. Amazing.

i love your hair in these pictures, kennedy. i also had to do a second look at your hair clip. i thought it was freshly picked at first. i just love this setting for your pictures. i've got to think about places for my pictures. that's one thing about hong kong, it's an urban jungle. i miss the scent of lilacs.

ice cream is a sure sign of spring/summer. I've had it everyday for the past 3 days, and I still want it again tonight and again tomorrow and I'm sure every other day for the rest of forever.
