rose cottage romance

photos by daniela
(vintage heart hair clip, vintage shirt, vintage sunglasses, dooney and bourke tote, UO belt, vintage jeans, vintage sandals)

sometimes i can't believe how lucky i am to have the help of such talented photographer friends (and boyfriend).  they're all such good sports to put up with me and my internet aspirations!   daniela is one of those and i recently commissioned her to spend the weekend with me thrifting and dreaming up outfit photos around the north shore.  i love partnering with her because everything she does inspires me and she has this way of coaxing me out of my comfort zone.  go look at her etsy store to see some examples of her styling on herself and you'll see what i mean.  i can't wait to post the rest of the shoots, this is just the first set!  of course we browsed a little bit after picture taking and i ended up going home with two books.  i couldn't resist the pretty binding and perfect titles, and i'm hoping to learn a thing or two about The Real World and The Foolish Gentlewomen!

Ah, you are lucky to have photog friends. mine just roll their eyes and carelessly snap away. well, my boyfriend takes some of them so I thank him for that but to have someone actually interested in photgraphy would be so great...

by the way you look fantastic in this outfit.

gah lady you are making me want to keep my long hair! Every day I go back and forth between wanting to cut it or just letting it be. I remember reading somewhere on your blog (or was it tumblr?) that you had amelie short hair and I bet that looked super cute on you. I, sadly, had a bowl cut for my shortest hair length and it looked vile :X
