pictures that remind me of everything that was cool and beautiful and glamorous about the 90s. i couldn't even begin to tell you how many times i watched stealing beauty and empire records as a little girl. i think its about time for me to publicly admit how much miss liv tyler is responsible for my own personal ideas on style and beauty to this day. and of course kate moss, babetown forever.

Liv Tyler is just divine.. and so are Johnny and Kate.. Though Im a bit biased about them together.. I love Winona Ryder to bits. hehe..

Ack! LOVE both of those movies. I rewatched Empire Records recently, but I haven't seen Stealing Beauty for years. I had a VHS copy of it that tracked majorly due to repeated viewing. I think i need to acquire a copy of it on CD. Liv Tyler is definitely on my top 5 list of beautiful women.
Not being sycophantic here, but your photos have a reinvented aura of both women. The 90s were fin de siecle redux but with more grit and decadent nihilism. Almost nothing so romantic exists as candids of Johnny and Kate in their beanie-wearing, tv-smashing heyday. The 1996 French movie When the Cat's Away is another good time capsule.
