i had never seen the beach in snow

leonard and i spent the weekend in a blizzard.  we were out on in long island where the storm hit the hardest but we kept warm and well-fed by the woodstove and under blankets.  its the most wonderful thing to be stuck in a house for a few days with a person you love.  see what a good girlfriend i am?  i give foot massages.

Your photo essay is so charming & sweet. Your weekend sounds like pure delightful reverie! I spent a good chunk of the weekend in Long Island too, eating hot pot and begging my friends in Manhattan not to peer pressure me into going to parties in the crazy blizzard.

PS--I'm really into the fish sheets & huge roast chicken (turkey?)!!

Aww what lovely romantic photos. I love that stove and the old kettle (does it whistle?! Looks like it would!) And yeah I find beaches always look so odd covered in snow!

These photos are stunning! I love the effect you used.

LOL, you are a very nice girlfriend. Feet freak me out so I can't do foot rubs, but I give a mean back rub.

Adore these photos of you. They look like a magazine editorial.

P.S. Cole is so jealous of the wood stove.

Of course, I would absolutely help you with your blog layout! You don't have to pay! Maybe I could start doing it on the side someday and use yours for a portfolio? Sound good?!

Your photos look so romantic! Looks like a winter dream and it seems like you guys had a perfect weekend alone together.

Haha, you are a good girlfriend for giving foot rubs! Feet are kinda weird things in my opinion.

And you are beautiful! Love the photo of you smiling.

I just stumbled upon your blog and it's beautiful. I was hit by the snow, but in a whole other way; flying home to DC for the holidays my flight was delayed two entire days! Annie.

I have that awesome striped bodysuit, but I used it as a swimsuit this summer aaaand things were revealed. The word 'bush' was thrown around a lot that day, and not just because we were at a cabin in the woods.
