leonard sent me these scans of old vogue covers and of course now i'm just dying to read through every one of these: college fashions, pre-spring hats, the bride book, summer holidays! what i wouldn't give for 20 minutes in a room alone with these. how are you so awesome always vogue?

those are amazing! just saw a photo of nicole richie wearing (what looked like) an identical pair of white sunglasses (as pictured in july 1939) by chanel... so funny that the same looks come around over and over again! such a lovely little peak into the past. xx

I actually came across a stack of these at an estate sale but they were snatched up before I could even glance through them.
Vogue is the definitive fashion magazine, and their covers reflect that. I can't believe they started in 1892.

I just died and went to vintage heaven! I love these classic late 1940-50's VOGUE Covers <3 <3 <3 I wish they'd bring the classic vintage look back to fashion over at Vogue ;) ...and 35 cents an issue!
