gypsy at heart

photos by caroline

vintage orange paisley turban hat: thrifted
grey viscose dolman sleeve shirt: american apparel
velvet leopard print leggings: thrifted
brown lace up heeled boots: thrifted

i have been searching for a vintage turban and something awesome in leopard print for months and this week i found both things!  i probably won't be able to wear the hat as much as i'd like to.  only because it's not as easy as you'd think to build an outfit around a loud and paisley headpiece but still i love it and its exactly what i've been looking for.  including, i feel very much like a gypsy when i've got it on.  the velvet leopard print leggings on the other hand will surely turn into a year-round wardrobe staple for me.

oh yeah, send me your links on weardrobe and chictopia so i can add you!

You always have the most beautiful vintage hats! If you are ever selling any on Etsy.. please, let me know and I will buy one in a heartbeat!I especially love the bow/ turban ones you've been rocking and saw one at a local vintage shop but it was sadly too small!

Those leggings were seriously thrifted?!?! What a great find! Oh, and you have a killer body. So jealous!

I want a hat just like that! I was trying on a similar one while thrifting last week but it was definitely bent out of shape. Also, not sure if I told you or not, but check out my blog for a special award to you! Annie.

that's funny. a girl who used to work at my store always wore a blue vintage turban, and she said she was half-gypsy by ancestry. i never connected the two before!

loud and proud leopard, love it!
